FAQs

​Q:  Do I have to pay a security deposit?
A:  Yes, a security deposit equal to the first month’s rent is required at all of our buildings.
 
Q:  Can I have a pet?
A:  Yes, pets under 25 pounds are allowed in our buildings. A pet deposit of $100 for a dog or a cat is required unless the pet is an “Assistance Animal.”
 
Q:  How old do I have to be to apply?
A:  Applicants must be 62 years of age or older to apply for housing at all buildings except Lesley Terrace, where persons under 62 with a verifiable long term disability may apply.
 
Q:  Is there a laundry room on site?
A:  There are laundry rooms at all our housing facilities. The price is $1.25 to wash or dry.
 
Q:  Is there on-site parking?
A:  All sites have some on-site parking available. Parking fees vary, as do waiting lists for parking spaces.
 
Q:  Can I have overnight visitors?
A:  Visitors are welcome to stay for short visits, usually limited to 14 days per calendar year. A resident wishing to have an overnight guest must complete a guest registration form and return it to the administration office.
 
Q:  How are the buildings staffed?
A:  Each building has an administrative staff and a maintenance and janitorial staff. Maintenance emergency repairs are provided 24/7. 
 
Q:  Can I apply to all Lesley Senior Communities facilities at the same time?
A:  Yes, however each site has a unique application that must be completed and returned to the respective facility. The waiting list must be open in order to apply.
 
Q:  Are there recreational activities?
A:  All group activities have been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 
 
Q:  Do you have transportation to medical appointments?
A:  At this time we do not offer transportation services.
 
Q:  Are the properties smoke free?
A:  Yes, all of our properties are smoke free.
